Hedgehog Goes to Kindergarten "Uncovered"

I am excited and extremely thrilled to share the final copy of the cover art for my upcoming picture book, "Hedgehog Goes to Kindergarten," illustrated by the fabulous Anne Kennedy!

It is a pleasure for me to be able to share it with you now and give you a sneak peek at my sweet and loveable main character Spike.

"It's the first day of kindergarten and little hedgehog Spike is afraid to ride the big bus alone. He needs a buddy to make the ride a bit less scary.

But no one wants to sit next to Spike's sharp quills on the bumpy bus ride.  Will he ever find someone to share his seat?"

Find out when "Hedgehog Goes to Kindergarten" is available through Scholastic Book Clubs in April/May or contact me for more information or to arrange for your own personalized copy.

  10. Looks like a great back-to-school book. My daughter likes riding the bus, mostly because she has a few good friends that also ride on her bus.
